The VII Latin American Conference on Biomedical Engineering (CLAIB 2016) was held in Bucaramanga, Santander state, Colombia, from October 26 to 28, 2016. This event is held every three years in a Latin American, and this was the first time that CLAIB was brought to Colombia. The professors Isnardo Torres, John Bustamante and Daniel Sierra were the Chair, Co- Chair and scientific director of Publications and Documentation Area in CLAIB 2016.
